Epic Teachers need to sign up for an account and follow the directions given for remote access. This is free until 6/30. This is a great resource for reading!
Lerner Digital Interactive Books Mostly non-fiction. Students can listen to books (at different speeds) or read on their own. Includes quizzes and fun activities.
LightBox Interactive eBooks for Grades K–5 at no cost until August 1, 2020.
This is great! Open the page and click on the search button. That will give you all grade levels and subjects. Books are fully interactive, including videos, activities, quizzes, related websites, slideshow and maps. At the end of each book the students are asked to do a quiz which they can download or do online.
Scholastic Learn at Home Scholastic Learn at Home....free with books, videos and lots of activities.
Teaching Books Teachers can set up an account and send students links to books. In many cases they can listen to the stories read by the author. There are author interviews, Lessons, activities for students to do.

Starfall Reading A free public service to teach children to read. It includes language arts and mathematics for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. Starfall emphasizes phonemic awareness, systematic sequential phonics, and common sight words in conjunction with audiovisual interactivity.
Room Recess Educational games for kids and elementary students. It includes games that apply skills for reading and math.

All classes at Patterson visit our library once a week for 30 minutes. Checkout is: Transitional-Kinder & Kindergarten - 1 book, 1st through 3rd - 2 books, and, 4th through 6th - 3 books. Parents are welcome to checkout books during library hours, before or after school (see above). The cost of replacement for lost or damaged books is set by the District - $25 for hardbacks and $10 for paperbacks.
Our library is the hub of literacy on our campus. I am continuously adding books for our students to enjoy, as well as materials to support the curriculum. Thank you for helping us support your students love for reading.
